There are times I get super busy and I don’t get to my to-do list until a couple of days later. Unfortunately, my to-do list starts to get quite long. What I end up doing, I take one whole day or a large part of the day working on my to-do list. This is very fulfilling to finish my to-do list. Then, I get extremely exhausted due to all the running around. I just need extra energy. Do you need extra fuel to last until the end of the day?

What you need is chia seed. The little seed has many health benefits. In the olden days, Aztecs and Mayan consider these little black seed very important. They give strength and energy. The seed is whole grain, non-GMO, and free of gluten. Another important fact is that chia is great for the anti-oxidant level. Anti-oxidant is very good for the health.

Anti-oxidant helps the body to fight against free radicals. Also, chia is high in fiber. When these seeds absorb water, it expands to fill up the stomach. The fullness of the stomach, the chia seed prevent the stomach from constantly feeling hungry and helps with weight loss. These are loaded with many nutrients very good for the body. Ingredients:

1/4 cup chia seed

1 cup soy milk

fresh fruit (blueberry/strawberry/etc)

nut and seed (pumpkin seed and walnut)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine milk and chia seed.
  2. Place in refrigerate. Let it sit overnight.
  3. The next day, stir the mixture. Make sure there is no clumps.
  4. You can add various toppings to the pudding. Add either blackberry or strawberry. Or, you can add some texture such as walnut or pumpkin seeds. You can add or drizzle some honey on top.
  5. Enjoy!

What to serve chia seed with? What to use chia seed in? Chia seed can be added to smoothies or with oatmeal in the morning. They can be added to water with added flavor by using fruits. Or, you can add these little seeds into your baking like a loaf of bread or in muffins. And, chia can be added to healthy snacks such as snack bites or granola bars. When I don’t have a lot of time, I sprinkler some into my afternoon milk tea for a relaxing and energizing drink. What do you like chia seed in?
