lemon vinegar to Improve your health

In Chinese culture, we are known to drink vinegar on a regular basis to improve our health. Vinegar has many benefits such as to treat many ailments, improve blood sugar level, and lower cholesterol. Chinese use black vinegar which is used in our everyday cooking from dips for dumplings to marinade for meat and sauce mixture for stew. Black vinegar is made from fermenting unpolish rice, wheat, and millet.  Black vinegar gets fermented for one to three years. During the fermenting process, the black vinegar darkens in color, smell, taste, and the nutritional content greatly improves. Chinese knows the benefit of vinegar so Chinese made vinegar beverage so we can drink it regularly. With that in mind, I wanted to help improve my children’s immunity. I bought a bottle of lemon vinegar from Pricesmart Metrotown location in the beverage session. I gave a teaspoon of vinegar in a small glass jar and add two to three teaspoon of water. Then, I would stir to mix the content. In the beginning, I added more water if my children could not tolerate how strong the taste would be for them. I gave the lemon vinegar to my children almost every day. I noticed my daughter didn’t catch a cold as easily from other children who were sick. And she was around the other the children every day. My daughter also has a tendency to suck on finger regularly so it is hard to prevent her from picking up germs or cold from others. Vinegar does help to strengthen immunity and it helps to prevent cold as well. There are four types of rice vinegar: black rice vinegar, red rice vinegar, and white rice vinegar. Black rice vinegar has a smokey flavor, while the red rice vinegar is tart and sweet. The white rice vinegar less sweet and has a hint of sweetness.
